Recently, operation in the brewery was modernised: The main filtration, the bottling line, and the micro-filtre that contributes to the long life of bottled beer without pasteurization. In recent years, a new fermenting cellar was put into operation, which considerably improved the technological section of main fermentation while the conventional production procedures have been maintained.
Along with this, a comprehensive two-stage reconstruction of the brewing house was completed, including the replacement of both brew tanks and the necessary construction work. In March 2007, comprehensive modernisation of the KEG line was implemented. In spring 2008, in relation to new water sources provided for the town of Hlinsko, a water treatment station commenced operation in the premises. The station meets the strictest requirements for the preparation of quality brewing water.
The investment and renovation actions gradually changed the look of the brewery and its technological equipment. All these changes are directed at higher quality and efficiency of all parts of the production so that now and in future, the brewery may satisfy permanent interest in first-class, traditionally produced beer labelled Rychtář.
The newest chapter in the history of Rychtář Brewery started in September 2008, when it was purchased by Pivovary Lobkowicz, a. s., represented by the new executive director, JUDr. Ing. Zdeněk Radil. The new owner makes a great effort to join together all the good and strong points and develop the brewery business even further.
For the future, K Brewery will further promote brewing traditional Czech lagers by means of conventional technologies and strive for more favourable positions on the regional market and abroad. The brewery makes an effort to supply customers with top-quality products at favourable prices, produced by means of conventional Czech technologies with the use of state-of-the-art production procedures, which allows producing beer that tastes perfect while all natural properties are maintained.
